Key Duties:
• To ensure efficient resource and rostering of train-crew as dictated by Transport for Wales Rail Services rostering arrangements to ensure compliance with the safety case requirements and the running of the current train plan. Real time management of Traincrew during disruption at Cardiff Central. This includes the implementation of the Traincrew reporting point (muster point). Document and manage incoming and displaced Traincrew. This could include relocating to other stations including Cardiff Queen Street or other stations as required within the working shift.
• To provide Managers with confidential reports, records and data in conjunction with train–crew and resource activities.
• To provide Managers with advice in linking structures and train-crew training requirements such as route and traction knowledge.
• Control of supervised and unsupervised depots to ensure the flow of management information, notice cases, Traincrew notice/information and fitness for duty requirements and competencies.
