One learner and two employers working with ALS Training have been shortlisted for this year’s Apprenticeship Awards Cymru from hundreds of candidates.
The annual awards celebrate and recognise individual learners, employers and training providers who have excelled in the development of the Welsh Government’s Traineeships and Apprenticeships programmes.
We are very proud to count the following learner and employers selected by the judging panel as being associated with ALS Training:
Organised by the Welsh Government and the National Training Federation for Wales (NTfW) and sponsored by media partner Media Wales, the awards provides a platform to showcase the exceptional achievements of industry individuals and organisations every year.
Last year, our client the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) scooped the Large Employer of the year award based on their commitment to Apprenticeships.
Sarah John, NTfW chair, said: “These awards are the highlight of the year for everyone connected with the delivery of these successful Apprenticeship and Traineeship programmes. We are proud that Wales has the best Apprenticeship system in the UK.”
Minister for Welsh Language and Lifelong Learning, Eluned Morgan commented:
“Apprenticeship Awards Cymru showcase the success of the Welsh Government’s Apprenticeships and Traineeships Programmes and the achievements of our star apprentices, employers, learning providers and trainees.
“Apprenticeships are a great way for individuals to gain valuable skills and experience while earning a wage and for employers to ensure their workforce have the skills to future proof a business.
“Increasing higher level skills and developing skills pathways that benefit the whole of Wales have never been more important.”
The award winners will be announced at the Celtic Manor, Newport on 9th November at a high profile awards ceremony so best of luck to all candidates and watch this space!
